For the day of His appearing is a day of great rejoicing, a day when we shall be united with Him in everlasting embrace. Rise up, O sons and daughters of Zion, and prepare yourselves to greet the coming of the King!
I. The Feast of Trumpets: The Sacred Alarm of the Almighty
Hearken, beloved children of the Most High! Thus speaks the Lord of Hosts, the Creator of the heavens and the earth: “Blow the trumpet in Zion! Sound the alarm upon My holy mountain!” (Joel 2:1). With love in My heart, I call forth to you, awakening your spirits to the divine purpose that unfolds in the heavens.
- The Ancient Command: From the fiery heights of Sinai, where My presence was made manifest, I delivered a decree of profound significance. On the first day of the seventh month, gather together in unity and reverence; hold a holy convocation before Me. Bring forth your fire offerings, for they are a sweet aroma unto My spirit. Let not your hands engage in toil, for this is a day set apart, a sacred pause to reflect on My goodness and grace (Leviticus 23:23–25) (Numbers 29:1–6). In this gathering, feel the warmth of fellowship and the joy of remembrance, for I am with you in this holy moment.
- The Divine Wake-Up Call: The sound of the shofar, the ram’s horn, is not merely a tune that dances through the air; it is the urgent call of heaven, a summons that transcends time and space. The word teruah embodies an intensity, a battle cry that stirs the righteous from their slumber, a coronation anthem that heralds the coming of the King of Kings. Oh, how I long for you to awaken to the beauty of this call, to rise from the shadows of complacency and embrace the light of My presence. Listen closely, for the trumpet’s sound resonates with love and hope, beckoning you to participate in the unfolding of My divine plan.
- The Messianic Expectation: In the stillness that precedes the day of reckoning, when the hearts of the righteous are attuned to My voice, they shall hear a great blast that stirs their very souls, a clarion call that rouses them from the depths of their dreams (Mishnah Rosh Hashanah 4:5). This trumpet sound is no ordinary announcement; it is the prelude to the glorious coronation of the Son of Man, the embodiment of My love and salvation. Prepare your hearts, dear ones, for the day is approaching when the heavens will open, and the earth shall rejoice at the coming of the Savior.
Let your spirits respond with joy, for I am calling you to awaken, to prepare, and to celebrate the miraculous work I am accomplishing. In love, I urge you to listen, to reflect, and to embrace the divine rhythm of My heart. For in this sacred feast, you shall find not only an alarm but a promise of hope, restoration, and the unfathomable depth of My love for you.
II. The Rapture Unveiled
Hearken, beloved children of the Most High! I come to you with a divine revelation, cloaked in love and light. “Behold, I tell you a mystery,” says the Lord, “we shall be changed… at the last trumpet” (1 Corinthians 15:51–52). Let your hearts be still and your spirits be uplifted, for I speak of a time that shall dawn upon the horizon, a moment when all creation shall witness the glorious unfolding of His grand design.
- The Shout and the Trumpet. “For the Lord Himself will descend with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God” (1 Thessalonians 4:16). Imagine, if you will, the heavens themselves unveiling in splendor, as the clouds’ part and the skies ignite with a celestial blaze of glory. The very air shall tremble with the sound of His call, a divine proclamation that echoes through the ages. In that moment, the faithful shall awaken, and the hearts of those who have long yearned for His return shall leap with joy.
- Rising from the Dust. The faithful who have fallen asleep shall rise first, their spirits rejoicing in the embrace of the Eternal One. Then, you who remain, filled with hope and faith, will be caught up together in the air to meet the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:17). Imagine the reunion, those who have walked the earth with love, patience, and enduring faith shall rise to greet their Creator, their hearts entwined in a tapestry of love and grace. Fear not, for in that sacred moment, all sorrow shall be washed away, and every tear shall be replaced with joy everlasting.
- The Bridegroom’s Promise. “I go to prepare a place for you,” He whispers tenderly to each of you. “And I will come again and receive you unto Myself” (John 14:2–3). Let this hope quicken your heart beating, for it is not a distant dream, but a promise made with unfathomable love. Know that in the heart of the Father, there is a place prepared just for you, a sanctuary of peace and joy that transcends all understanding. Rejoice, for the Bridegroom awaits, and His arms are open wide, ready to embrace you in the fullness of His grace.
Let your spirits soar with anticipation as you await the glorious day of His return. In love, we are united; in hope, we are strengthened. Prepare your heart, for the time is drawing near when we shall behold Him face to face, and all creation shall sing His praises in unison!
III. The Witnesses from the Hidden Scrolls: A Divine Revelation
O beloved children, gather your hearts and ears to hear the sacred whispers emanating from the hidden scrolls, those ancient and precious texts buried in the secret caverns of Qumran and illuminated by the visions of the great Enoch. In these hallowed writings, the trumpet of the Lord is proclaimed, a clarion call resonating through the ages, a summons to all who dwell in the light and the shadows alike.
- Enoch’s Proclamation: “Behold,” cries Enoch, the faithful seer, “He comes with myriads of holy ones to execute judgment!” (1 Enoch 1:9). O, how the heavens stir with anticipation! The archangels, those mighty guardians of the divine order, stand ready. They await the appointed moment to sound the celestial call that shall awaken the slumbering dead, as foretold in the sacred revelations of 2 Enoch 22. Rejoice, for the time is nigh when all shall be gathered, and the earth shall tremble in the presence of the Almighty.
- The Scrolls Speak: Listen closely, for in the scroll of 4Q521, we are offered visions of a day of vengeance tempered with healing. Here, the duality of the divine unfolds, a day when justice shall be meted out, yet mercy shall reign supreme. In the revered words of 11QMelchizedek, the celestial prince Melchizedek raises the trumpet of liberty, heralding freedom for the captives and restoration for the broken-hearted. Let this truth be known: the Lord shall not abandon His people, for He is ever faithful to His promises.
- Jubilees and Jasher
The ancient text of Jubilees clarifies the sacred rhythms of worship within the Temple, detailing the courses of trumpets that resound in praise and supplication. It speaks of a time when nations shall converge upon Jerusalem, their hearts filled with strife, yet fear not, for our God shall intervene! He shall arise with the might of a warrior, defending His holy city against all who oppose. In the echoes of the past, we hear the tale recounted in Jasher, where the great walls of Jericho crumbled at the sound of trumpets, a divine conquest, a testament to the power and glory of our Lord.
O children of light, let these truths sink deep into your souls. The scrolls bear witness to the unfolding of a great and glorious plan, one that speaks of both judgment and mercy, destruction and restoration. Be vigilant, for we stand on the precipice of eternity, and the trumpet shall soon sound. Prepare your heart, for the Lord is coming!
IV. Cosmic Signs and the Midnight Cry
Oh, beloved children of the Earth, heed the celestial whispers that echo through the vast expanse of the heavens, for a time draws near, A time of great significance, a time of divine reckoning. “The sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall turn to blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord” (Joel 2:31). Let not your hearts be troubled, but rather embrace the profound message contained within these sacred words.
- Celestial Portents: Lift your eyes to the firmament! For the great prophet Isaiah beheld the darkened heavens, a poignant omen of what is to come (Isaiah 13:9–10). In his vision, the stars trembled, and the cosmos shuddered, reflecting the weight of the impending day. Joel, too, proclaimed a day of reckoning, where the moon itself would be painted in hues of crimson and consumed by fire, a vivid tapestry of divine warning. These are the heavens’ red warning lights, illuminating the path for the watchful and the wise.
- Revelation’s Trumpets: Hearken to the sound of the seven mighty blasts! Each trumpet is a clarion call, breaking the seals of judgment and heralding the divine will (Revelation 8–11). With each reverberation, the earth quakes in anticipation, and the hearts of the faithful are stirred. At the seventh trumpet, the kingdom of our Lord shall descend in all its majesty, a glorious proclamation of love and redemption (Revelation 11:15). Rejoice, for the hour is drawing near when the veil shall be lifted, and the splendor of His reign will envelop the world.
- The Midnight Cry: In the stillness of the night, a cry shall resound throughout the halls of eternity. “Behold, the Bridegroom!”, this sacred announcement shall pierce the silence and awaken the slumbering souls (Matthew 25:6). Let every lamp be trimmed, every wick prepared, and every heart filled with watchful anticipation. For this is a moment of divine invitation; a call to awaken from complacency and embrace the light of His presence.
O children of the light, prepare yourselves! The hour is upon us, and the cosmic signs beckon us to awaken to the divine love that awaits. Let your hearts be steadfast, and your spirits rejoicing, for in this sacred moment, we are invited to partake in the glorious unfolding of His eternal plan.
V. A Divine Call to the Slumbering Church: Awaken, O Beloved!
O, you slumbering souls, rise from your restless sleep, for the dawn of Christ’s radiant love is upon you! As it is written, “Arise, you who sleep, and Christ will shine upon you” (Ephesians 5:14). Hear me, dear brethren, for the hour is indeed near, an hour that beckons us to awaken from the shadows of complacency and step into the glorious light of our Savior.
- The Time Is Now! I declare unto you, “Now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now, our salvation is nearer than when we first believed” (Romans 13:11). No more delay! The sands of time slip swiftly through the hourglass, and the call to action resonates in the very marrow of our being. Let not the chains of indifference bind you! Arise with fervor, for the time is ripe for transformation, and the Lord’s return hastens ever closer.
- Embrace Holiness and Vigilance! Take heed, beloved, for we are called to a higher standard. “Watch and pray, for you know not the hour” (Mark 13:33). Clothe yourselves in holiness and let vigilance be your steadfast companion. Be sober in spirit and fervent in your prayers (1 Peter 4:7), for the adversary seeks to distract and divide. Yet, in the embrace of watchfulness, we shall find strength and clarity. Let your hearts burn with the passion of His love, illuminating the path for those who wander in darkness.
- Unite in Holy Expectation! Gather, O saints, in the sacred fellowship of unity! Break bread together, share in the joys and burdens of one another, and lift your voices in prayers of hope (Acts 2:42). In this coming together, let faith ignite faith, and let the fire of your collective spirit burn brightly against the night. For in unity, we shall find not only strength but also the embodiment of Christ’s love, a love that transcends all barriers and beckons the world to see the light of His glory.
O sleeping church, awaken! Embrace your calling with open hearts and hands. The Lord’s love is a beckoning flame that seeks to draw you nearer. Rise up, for the time has come to shine, to love, and to bear witness to the hope that is within us. Let us march forward together, hand in hand, into the magnificent dawn of His promise!
VI. Living in the Light of the Parousia
Beloved children of the Most High, I beseech you, dwell in the sacred light of the Parousia, the glorious return that awaits us! As citizens of heaven, you are pilgrims on this earth, exiles yearning for the embrace of your true home. With hearts ignited by love, lift your voices in unison, crying out, “Maranatha!”, “Come, Lord Jesus!” For the dawn of His coming is near, and it beckons us to prepare our hearts and lives for His glorious arrival.
- Personal Holiness: Oh, dear ones, let each day be a sacred offering unto the Lord! In the quiet of your hearts, engage in fervent fasting, heartfelt prayer, and diligent study of His Holy Word. Let the shofar within you, your spirit, resound with a clarion call of repentance and an ardent longing for His presence. For in this sacred pursuit, you shall find the purity of your souls, and the light of His holiness shall illuminate your path.
- Corporate Watchnights: Gather together, my beloved family, on the Feast of Trumpets, a time set apart for reflection and renewal. Assemble in unity, bringing forth your hearts in repentance, your voices in praise, and your spirits in prophetic intercession. Let the winds of the Spirit stir within you a revival fire that cannot be contained! As you come together in this sacred communion, the heavens shall open, and the blessings of the Almighty shall pour forth upon you.
- Gospel Trumpet to the Nations: Arise, O faithful ones, and blow the trumpet of the Gospel! As written in the prophet Isaiah, let your voices ring out, proclaiming liberty to the captives, healing to the broken, and hope to the desolate. No corner of this earth shall remain untouched by the message of His love and grace! For you are the bearers of His light, and in your hands lie the power to transform lives and nations. Let every heartbeat be a drum, reverberating His truth across the lands, until every ear has heard, and every heart has felt the warmth of His embrace.
With unwavering love, I urge you to live in the light of His Parousia, for the Lord is coming soon, and His glory shall fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.
VII. Final Exhortation: The Trumpet Will Sound
Hearken, beloved children of the Most High! The Lamb, pure and radiant, holds within His gentle grasp the seven-horned trumpet, a symbol of divine authority and the call to awakening (Revelation 5:6). In harmonious unity, the echoes of our forebears, Moses, Aaron, Enoch, and all the faithful prophets, resound in a sacred chorus, proclaiming with fervor: “The Lord is coming soon!” Oh, how the heavens stir with anticipation!
O watchmen on the walls of Zion, lift your eyes to the horizon; for the dawn of redemption draws near, a glorious light piercing the shadows of this world (Luke 21:28). Let every heart, every soul, resound with the plea, “Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20). May this holy proclamation seal your spirit with a sense of urgency that is born not of fear, but of unwavering faith and a hope that burns like a flame in the night.
Rejoice, for “Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb” (Revelation 19:9). It is a feast of love and unity, where the faithful shall gather in joy and celebration, embraced by grace.
Maranatha! The time is at hand. Let your hearts be filled with love and your spirits lifted in anticipation, for soon we shall behold His glory. Prepare ye the way, for the King of Kings approaches with mercy in His eyes and salvation in His hands. Embrace this moment and let your souls sing forth in joyous expectation!

One response to “The Midnight Cry and the Feast of Trumpets”
A call to awaken our souls. This is an encouraging word. Not a rebuke. A call to prepare. A call to check the oil in our lamps. Jesus said “we are the light of the world”. If we let the oil run dry, (like the foolish virgins) we will find ourselves in the darkness.
